Start with the right source

For a PDF, EPUB or Word document, use the document converter. For individual web articles or saved HTML files, use Web to EPUB. Readability works best with text-rich articles and documents.

Review the results

After extraction, review warnings and suggested cleanup. Selected cleanup items will be removed from the output; your uploaded source stays unchanged. Some scans and complex graphics remain images. OCR may misread letters, numbers and tables.

Preview and choose your formats

Choose a PDF layout, text size and spacing. The free preview samples up to 15 pages from selected sections, so it is not the whole book. The EPUB uses reflowable text; its exact appearance depends on your reading app.

Export your complete book

Verify your email or sign in with a verified Google account. Your first successful complete book is free. Future books use a monthly subscription. After success, download EPUB, PDF and editable Word, separately or as a ZIP. Failed exports do not consume the free book or charge credits.

Download the EPUB and upload it through Amazon’s Send to Kindle. See the step-by-step guide. We do not send files to your Kindle automatically.

Files expire after 48 hours

The retention period starts when a project is created. Download your finished files promptly. You can delete your project files earlier from the project page. Account and transaction records are separate from file retention.

Something did not work?

Private, blocked or login-only web pages cannot always be fetched. Upload a saved HTML copy if you have permission. If a document fails, keep the project ID and contact support. Do not upload highly sensitive files.
