Who is responsible

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, a hashed password, or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google.
• Content you submit: uploaded files and the web pages you ask us to fetch, used only to create your book.
• Kindle address: if you use Send to Kindle, the address you enter is used to deliver that book; your browser can remember it locally for next time.
• Billing records: the plan or pack you bought, amounts, dates and the PayPal transaction or subscription reference. PayPal processes the payment; we never receive your card number.
• Service logs: IP address, request times and processing status, used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To provide the service you asked for, keep your account secure, process payments and subscriptions, answer support requests and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and we do not use your documents to train AI models. The extraction and typesetting run on our own software.

Retention and deletion

Original files, working copies, previews and exported books are deleted 48 hours after a project is created; you can delete them sooner with “Delete project files” on the project page. Account and billing records are kept while your account is open and as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare (hosting, storage and email delivery) and PayPal (payments). They process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for payments, under their own privacy terms. Data may be processed outside your country, with appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies that keep you signed in and protect forms. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to its processing. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Content you may submit

Only submit material you have the right to process. The service does not remove DRM, bypass logins or unlock paywalls.
